Prohibited Personnel Practices (PPP) program for DoW Schedule Policy/Career excepted service positions

Pursuant to Directive-type Memorandum (DTM) 26-002, the Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals (DOHA) is the designated authority for administering the Prohibited Personnel Practices (PPP) program for Department of War (DoW) Schedule Policy/Career excepted service positions.  DOHA has the jurisdiction to receive, refer for investigation, and adjudicate complaints of PPPs for covered individuals under this DTM.  Decisions made by DOHA Administrative Judges on these matters are final and cannot be appealed.  However, the DoW General Counsel may elect, in his or her sole discretion, to review any DOHA decision issued pursuant to this DTM and take any appropriate action.
